If there is one thing I’ve learned in my many years as an Executive Chef and Culinary School Instructor, it’s that the food you eat affects every aspect of your life – not just every day – but every hour of your life. After all, food is the fuel that runs your body, and poor fueling choices lead to a poorly functioning body. It really is that simple.
The programs I offer at Chef Pamela’s Food, Health & Wellness is an integration of healthy nutrition choices, healthy weight goals, increased movement, and setting meaningful priorities. We will NOT be judgmental. We will NOT count calories.
We WILL focus on the things that you value – the realization that changes in thought, lifestyle, movement, and diet are necessary, and I WILL provide you with the guidance you need to get there. I WILL be the coach who shows you how to manage these changes, and I WILL provide you with the type of direction, support, and encouragement that allows personal growth and awareness to take place.My holistic approach to coaching will examine not only “the problem,” but what may be the root source of that problem. As we work our way through the program, you’ll begin to see significant changes taking place, including:

- A clearer, more Loving Sense of Self
Together, we will examine all aspects of your life. We will identify areas that are holding you back from achieving your goals – and work to understand WHY. We will explore new habits that replace old behaviors, things that no longer serve you well, one small step at a time. It is these small steps lead to success, rather than trying to “do it all at once”. These incremental steps, instead forcing yourself into major alterations, will become positive lifestyle changes that lead to long-term results.
We look at how career, relationships, financial, exercise, diet, spiritual and self-care relate to how you’re feeling and what, if anything, can be done. If we uncover deep issues that are beyond the scope of my practice, there are professionals from mental health and behavior professionals to chiropractors, physical trainers and yoga instructors, even personal chefs, in my referral network if we need them.
Living Well Begins with Eating Well
Our food supply system is seriously broken, as is our nutrition education system. Most of us simply don’t know and are unaware of the connection between food and overall health. My goal is to reduce food illiteracy, help you understand the negative effects of your nutrition choices – and show you how to make better food choices instead.
